London Calling

Last month, the Reels team had the honor to participate in the North Europe International Film Festival in London, England. This phenomenal festival brought together filmmakers from all over the world. We met incredibly talented musicians, actors, and storytellers.

Block Island premiered to a full room of festival goers and enjoyed an enthusiastic round of applause at the conclusion.

After a week of networking and watching an impressive selection of documentaries and narrative films (short and feature length), we were joined by actors Diana Lee Arnold and Jen Ayer Drake for the awards dinner, red carpet and all.

e were honored to be nominated for seven awards, and we were stunned to walk away with two wins, Best Cinematography for Sheila Smith and Best Supporting Actress for Jen Ayer Drake.

The Reels team is honored to have been a part of this great festival and gives a huge shout out to its two organizers (and founders), Steve and Dan!
